Alisha Zafar

Alisha Zafar is a creative producer, editor, writer, videographer, and photographer based in New York City. She currently leads the Digital Department as Senior Producer at the Emmy Award-winning Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Alisha manages a highly talented team of producers and editors who pitch and produce original viral social content for The Late Show. She manages and curates content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Threads. She has produced talent including Stephen Colbert, Daniel Radcliffe, Jeremy Allen White, Mindy Kaling, BLACKPINK, John Oliver, Jamie Foxx, John Mulaney, Martin Scorsese, Steve Carell and beyond.

Alisha is a rare Pakistani-Irish hybrid who was raised both Muslim and Catholic in New Jersey and Philadelphia. She began her career as an NBC Page at 30 Rock where she held assignments at Saturday Night Live, The TODAY Show, Corporate Diversity and USA/Syfy. Alisha is a trained actor, voiceover artist, improviser and sketch writer that has studied and performed at UCB, The Second City, The Peoples Improv Theater and Stella Adler. In 2018 she received a diversity scholarship to study at The Second City in Chicago. In 2020 she was accepted into The National Institute of Dramatic Art's MFA Writing for Performance in Sydney, Australia. She had to postpone her studies due to the pandemic.
